Multiple Rapid (6-in-1) Screening Drug Test Kit
Cocaine, Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepine, THC, and Opiate are controlled substances available both by prescription (e.g., Dexedrine) and on the illicit market.
These drugs act as potent sympathomimetic agents with therapeutic uses, and are chemically related to the body’s natural catecholamines: epinephrine and norepinephrine.
At higher doses, they stimulate the central nervous system, causing euphoria, alertness, and increased energy. They also raise blood pressure and can cause arrhythmias. Acute reactions may lead to anxiety, paranoia, and hallucinations.
Drug Effects and Excretion
These drugs typically exert their effects for 2-4 hours, and their half-life ranges from 4 to 24 hours. The body excretes about 30% of the substance unchanged in the urine, while the rest is metabolized into hydroxylated and deaminated derivatives.
Multiple Rapid Drug Test Kit
The Multiple Rapid Drugs (6-in-1) Screening Test Kit detects the presence of Cocaine (300 ng/mL), Amphetamine (1000 ng/mL), Barbiturate (300 ng/mL), Benzodiazepine (300 ng/mL), THC (50 ng/mL), and Opiate (300 ng/mL) in urine.
Courts and workplaces commonly use this test for drug screening.
Principle
The Rapid Multi Drugs (6-in-1) Screening Test Kit uses competitive immunochromatography and nano gold particles for agglutination. Each drug-specific pad contains an agglutinating serum conjugated to colloidal gold and rabbit globulin conjugated to colloidal gold.
When urine flows through the device, the conjugates interact with the drugs in the sample, forming a complex.
If the drug is present, the complex will not form a bond in the test region (T), showing no visible band, indicating a positive result. If the drug is absent, the conjugate binds at the test region, creating a visible band that indicates a negative result.
The control region (C) always forms a pink band due to the immobilization of the rabbit IgG-colloidal gold conjugate by Goat anti-Rabbit IgG, ensuring the test’s validity.
